PET OF THE MONTH

This is Cher - She is a 3 year old beautiful blue heeler mix. She has one eye with a blue spot. Cher came to us in 2003 when she was a puppy. She came to us as an owner turn in - because her former owners said that they could not properly take care of her. She came with her brother - we named him Sonny, and he has already gotten a home.

She likes to go for long walks and she loves to play with her toys. Cher would love to go to a new forever home and she would love her own back yard to run and play in. She gets along well with children and other dogs.

Who We Are

Coastal Bend Small Breed Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation. We are a group of caring people interested in SAVING LIVES. We rescue small second chance companion animals up to 20 pounds. We get these animals from owners wishing to surrender their pets. We get them from kind people who find them loose on the streets as strays. Occasionaly we get one from the pound.
Many of our dogs are pure breeds.

We get them spayed or neutered, vaccinations, heart worm prevention, flea & tick prevention.
Each pet gets a new collar and leash as well.

We provide a training DVD FREE of charge to every adoptor.

We are presently the ONLY Rescue Group in Corpus Christi, TX using MICRO CHIPS as our form of identification.
A Microchip will get your dog back to you faster than any other form of identification.
And Most Improtant - OUR ADOPTIONS ARE GUARANTEED 100% SUCCESSFUL IN ALL CASES!

Coastal Bend Small Breed Rescue adoption fee is $85.00 for mixed breeds and $150.00 for pure breeds. This includes all the above services.

Coastal Bend Small Breed Rescue adoptions are 100% guaranteed. We will ALWAYS take a pet back into our rescue for whatever the reason. We feel that dogs and people must be suited for one another. So we do an extensive interview before we recommend a dog for adoption. We work with all new pet owners to help them through the adjustment period. Families with children under the age of 6 years old can only adopt a dog over 10 pounds.

Please come out and visit us and our pets for adoption. We are Open Every Day Including Weekends - Saturday and Sunday
